The people that run Blakeman Propertys are extremely unprofessional. Julie Blakeman will tell you any and everything in order to lease as many apartments as possible. The manager, Joanne Criscione, is a complete joke. She will spark a conversation with you and eventually she will tell you everything about the other tenants, including personal information. There were vehicle break-ins in which Blakeman Properties did NOT notify the tenants about it. There are supposedly cameras outside of the buildings, but either they do not check the cameras, or they do not work. No smoking on the property, yet tenants and guests are smoking on the premises and on the decks of the apartments. No pets allowed, yet tenants are seen walking in and out of the building with dogs. Elevator and hallways wreak. Nothing is done about any of this. The manager entered my apartment WITHOUT my permission and touched a number of my personal belongings (this was caught on camera). A number of other tenants complained of the same issue. If a tenant has a problem with anything at all, just be prepared for nothing to be done and more than likely your lease will NOT get renewed. Theyll also find any reason to keep your security deposit.
