Attorney Tamis represented a seller of a home for which I as a real estate broker represented the buyer.  Attorney Tamis untruthfully told me that according to the contract, the seller "could not" pay a commission.  Of course the seller could indeed have paid a commission to our company.  But he falsely stated that the contract did not allow them to pay.  This was simply untrue. I contemplated making a complaint with the bar.  In the end submitting this true review maybe could accomplish the same purpose that I might hope to accomplish with a complaint.  Although this happened a while ago, I am posting this today for this reason.  A client of mine needed assistance with bankruptcy. Another attorney that I trust stated that Attorney Tamis handles such issues.  No way could I have referred Attorney Tamis to someone, after his unethical handling of the above situation.  Through an excellent yelp review, I found a great attorney to help my client.  Hope this helps you in your search for assistance.
