I'm still waiting for the nursery chair and ottoman I ordered on June 14th. Today is August 21st. We were originally told it would take 6 weeks. We are days away from 11 weeks and I still don't have the chair. My husband has called a number of times and they kept saying it would be another week. I can understand if the manufacturer is causing the delay. What I CANNOT understand is how no one from Puritan Juvenile Furniture has proactively called us to explain the delay. That's awful customer service. In addition, today we called the store a ridiculous number of times and *surprise* no one answered. I finally let the phone ring and ring endlessly until someone finally answered. The phone was answered by a man saying, "Puritan. Who is this?" Excuse me???? Did I call your house or your business? Who is this??? I replied, "An angry customer." I will say that the sales people we worked with on June 14 were lovely. The customer service from that moment on has been awful. If you've never been in the store please understand that there could be perhaps be ONE customer in the store at any given time. I would venture a guess that 75% of the time there are no customers in the store. So why can't a sales person answer the phone? Get a cordless phone....carry it throughout the the store....it's 2015.
