G.E. is taking care of the contaminated soil problem they created in the 50-80s (the wastewater they created after metal finishing) they ran a pipe close to the Quininipiac River and many homes including ours that leaked. Well they came buy with a representative of G.E. and the project Manager and stopped by and talked to us about how well they would conduct themselves and how un intrusive they would be,
how they wouldn't work weekends (few if needed) How they wouldn't park their cars on the streets etc...
So far I have had to call them after violating their conduct of operation and they promised me and apologized profusely that they wouldn't do it again! BLOCKING my driveway at least three times, taking all the spots in front of my house with trucks and trailers. The kids are out .of school now so they start weekdays at 7 A.M. (VERY LOUD) waking them up. They have started working weekends at 9 A.M. waking everybody up! This Friday they blocked our driveway for at least 20 minutes, and they are parking in front of our house with multiple trucks!! So Glad they honor their word!!!! They must be politicians too! Oh and we will have them as guest till sometime in September!!! Thanks again G.E.
