Whatever you do...don't see Dr. Don or get the testosterone pellet Biote!!I got a physical which told me that my testosterone was non-existent. So they  say that they have this testosterone pellet that would solve all my medical issues i was having (sleepless nights, hair falling out more, can't lose weight, tiredness). Was told by a nurse she gets it done and it's life changing. First of all, insurance doesn't pay for women and it's $400 each time. I get it done and they tell me that the numbers aren't right which was why i wasn't feeling any different and i need to get off birth control and try again. Great, there's $400 down the drain. They should have known this before they gave me the pellet. So i get it done again...another $400. A few weeks afterwards, my hair began falling out at an alarming rate! Mind you one of my complaints was that my hair was already falling out and now it's so, so much worse! Did i mention that in a few months i was to get married? yeah... so my hair keeps falling out. I go to see the Dr. again and he says it's not the pellet, that there's two reasons why woman lose their hair and that's iron and thyroid. So i go for more bloodwork. Next thing i know, a nurse calls me and says i need to be on thyroid meds. I ask why, she says i don't know let me ask the Dr. I get my bloodwork results on Quest and i saw my numbers were within range. She calls me back and says my numbers are low and he wants me on it. At this point i start to not trust them and i go see an Endocrinologist. They tell me that all my bloodwork is great (including my thyroid) and it's the testosterone that's wrong. There's too much of it which is why my hair is falling out. So this quack of a Dr. wanted me on a heavy medication for nothing and he didn't listen to me when i told him it was the pellet. The only thing i could do is wait til it leaves my body. I also found other websites where this happened to many other woman. It's been 7 months now and my hair is finally just starting to grow back. I had to get married like this. I eventually told the dr. office how i felt and received no call back from the Dr. Don. Unbelievable! I'm never coming back to this practice if all these Dr's want to do business with this quack. Worse experience of my life. He knows nothing about this pellet he is injecting into woman. Stay away!!

I can't say enough great thins about Donald Kagan and really, the entire staff. Donald has a tremendous knowledge of interactions between medications and is very empathic. I'd go far out of my way to see him, oh wait, I do. And I have, for many years.

I started going to broadway medical Group because of Donald Kagan, PA & Nurse Angelina, over 4 years ago. Don Kagan takes his time and answer any questions I may have. I he is a straight shooter and will not sugar coat anything I trust him with all of my medical needs. Im blessed to have found him.

Dr Galante and his staff are awesome. Ive been with Dr Galante for over 30 years. Loved him so much I kept him and his office when I moved up to Mystic CT. Its an hour drive now but I wouldnt give him up. Just a wonderful man and doctor.
