Came here with my partner over the weekend and had a blast! The people here are super accommodating and though we called late on a Saturday, they still made it possible for us to ride. The horses have their own personalities which was super awesome and made it a lot more fun. The girls who took us on the trails were helpful and ensured we were comfortable on the horses. If youre looking for some fun, come to Blue Spruce Farm!

So let me start off by telling you that any bad reviews must be false or due to issues with the reviewer(s). I saw video of one particular incident also. Enough said. Anyways, the experience there is top notch. The rescue horses are well loved and taken care of. The owners/guides are very thorough with the help and instruction needed. Everyone is very friendly and informative also. My girlfriend and I will definitely be returning for more. Maybe for a snowy trail ride hopefully.

I took lessons at this business and found them to be fun and more than just riding. I learned how to take care of a horse, how to maintain their living area, feeding, taking care of the tack and grooming. The only draw back was when the younger students would step in for the adult, to teach. I thought I was paying to be taught by an experienced teacher, not a child and one that wasn't supervised by an adult. I would've understood if it was some type of mentorship program but it was because the owner/instructor was too busy for the lesson. I also, as part of my lessons, learned to ride on the trails. It was fun but repetitive. Very limited land, it was a loop trail that didn't even give you the illusion of being in the woods as the neighbors were visible through the trees. I understand that something like that, not enough land and close neighbors, can't be helped but it was still unfortunate. All in all, this is a good place to start your journey on learning how to ride but at some point, moving on to a more advanced barn would be advisable.

We havent been here in a while but absolutely loved it and the staff and the owners. Some of the greatest people you will ever meet honestly. As you can read from other reviews that this is the place to go if youve never been on a horse before. Very cost effective and nothing too intense when it comes to actual riding. The guides are there to keep both you and the horse calm at all times and afford plenty of photo opportunities. The horses are rescues so sometimes they like to do their own thing, but the guides are there to keep them on track. We will definitely be back and highly recommend for your first time, and especially if its your childs first time. The one thing I didnt have to worry about was the safety of my child because they had a guide with them AT ALL TIMES! Try them out and keep and open mind, because its apparent from reading many of these reviews that people went into this thinking its likes the movies or television or something.
