I have never had a problem with the salespeople but I rarely shop here - only for ballet flats or camisoles when I need them cheap and fast. Today they had a big display of Hustler lingerie by the registers (not with the rest of the underwear in the back). It couldn't be avoided. It was over the top, stuff you could get, I imagine, in adult stores. On the boxes were Hustler centerfolds modeling these "togs" which amounted to basically nothing. Really disturbing to see this in a mainstream woman's store. A woman was there with her young daughter. When I called to voice my feelings I was told they are "not a children's store". So, despite the fact women may shop there with kids in tow, or the fact some of their customers are teenagers (or even preteen) and they specifically sell cupcake pens and lip gloss etc. that appeals to that age group,they are now claiming that they're not a children's store, so it's okay to put up what amounts to a smidge away from pornography..where it can't be avoided. The other main issue is what this says about whom Joyce Leslie considers its customer base. Not being an objectified sexpot with little money, I will no longer shop there.
