Dr Block did an excellent job with cataract surgery in both eyes. His staff was excellent and very professional. I highly recommend him!

I couldn't possibly have been more pleased with ReFocus Eye, and specifically with Dr. Block. This was the second eye exam of my life and I had a lot of questions.I had watched him on YouTube appearing on CT TV morning shows (highly recommend you do the same), and he was everything in person that he appeared to be on TV: extremely professional, with an encyclopedic knowledge of eye conditions, friendly, comforting, casual, with a sense of humor to boot. He put me at ease immediately.I was diagnosed as diabetic about a month ago, and was very concerned about diabetic retinopathy, a common side effect of diabetes. Dr. Block gave me a much more thorough and well-explained examination than another ophthalmologist I saw last year, who had an optical store in his practice and gave me the bum's rush (saw the Dr. for 3 minutes total!). The other guy was much more interested in selling me glasses than in explaining what was going on with my eyesight. Dr. Block answered all my questions, explained his diagnosis in detail step-by-step, and was friendly and personable to boot. I cannot recommend ReFocus and specifically Dr. Block more.This guy is the eye doctor I'd been looking for! 5 stars, and well with a visit for anyone wanting it done right!

A wonderful doctor with wonderful support staff, from check-in, to check-out. Everyone was personable and friendly. The tech who did some of the preliminary exam before Dr. Block came in was very knowledgeable and had great attention to detail. Dr.Block was easy to talk to and answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend this business.

I've been seeing Dr. Block for many years and have always put my complete trust in what he suggests and the surgery he has performed. He is not only a wonderful surgeon but is a kind person. He always explains everything in detail and I never feel rushed during an appointment. The office staff is friendly and competent. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr.Block is an incredible surgeon and ophthalmologist. He is not only brilliant, he really cares about his patients. His office staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Having been to several physicians, I can truly say he and all of his staff are top notch, a trait which is difficult to find today.
