Carone and Sons Landscaping LLC

I have used Carone and Sons for a couple years now. I started with just spring and fall cleanups but now use them for everything. Art is very knowledgeable about all things landscaping and offers advice as if it was his property. Several of my neighbors have asked for his information after seeing the great job he does at my house.

Been calling and emailing this company for months now. Only once was I able to speak to someone who sent me 2 quotes. We chose one via email and no one ever responded to move forward. I’ve called and emailed and so has my mother. Never any response and when the one time they did call back, they didn’t even leave a message. Immediately called back and still nothing. Obviously we are looking for another company. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy, luckily we didn’t spend the thousands of dollars we wanted to for the work. If their customer service is anything like their lawn work, Run to TRU GREEN and don’t looks back!!!! I wish I could give no stars!!!

Carone and Sons pulled out a few large bushes around the house. They worked fast, did great work and were extremely careful and neat. Over a great experience.

I cannot say enough GREAT THINGS about this company. The workers define the word TEAMWORK almost to perfection. I moved into an Ansaldi built home in 2017 where the previous owner left the yard to grow into Jumanji. I called Carone and Sons to work on the property and they cleaned out the front within one day. The results are best exemplified in the attached pictures. The walkway area came out amazing. I have been a customer of his for years. But the employment issues that have hindered many businesses in getting qualified employees has also impacted Carone and Sons in their ability to hire employees. Mr. Carone has a reputation to hire qualified and experienced workers who know and care about what they are doing. He has long been very receptive to my landscaping needs but, again like many other companies, he has had a problem recruiting qualified candidates this year to work with him due to the State of CT paying so much to those on unemployment. He is not alone as many businesses are having a hard time in finding people who actually want to work. I have no problem in waiting for him to hire qualified candidates rather than just hiring a "body" to do the work because I want the best job done on my home and am willing to wait and extra week or two because these are pandemic issues and Carone will eventually pull through. If you want someone on your property who knows and cares about the plants and soils which make your home a home... Carone and Sons is the company and they are undeserving of any criticism over a delay because we are in the midst of a hiring crisis due to too many people unwilling to come off of unemployment to actually work. I trust Carone and Sons will always have the best qualified people on my property, and remain accident free, because the Owner demands that he hire only the best qualified.

post-hurricane cleanup: Arthur and his team were very professional, courteous and extremely efficient. They quickly (within 2 hours) completed a hurricane cleanup, job entailing a downed tree. After cleaning up the property, including the scattered twigs and leaves, they left it spotless and without any new damage to the landscape. Arthur also educated and identified a few other problem items in my backyard. As a bonus, he found a white-faced wasp nest which we quickly eliminated. I anticipate that Carone and Sons will be helping me with future needs. Service: Garden tidy-up
