The only reason that this location is getting three starts is because of the front desk, Rachel. She went above and beyond for a person who is not familiar with the hotel, and this does not reflect on her, but the room is somewhat to be desired. There was spiders in the bathroom, cigarette burns on the sheets, and missing outlet covers.If you could find a better place than this in the area, please go there.

Initially I was pleasantly surprised that they had availabilities. You see, power went out throughout town. Something about a bomb cyclone and really cold winds and low temperatures and power outages all over.  My husband requested a military discount and was assured rhat we would get the lowest possible discounts and to feel that'd we'd been well taken care of..  there was even a notation in the bill as to why we were there.     I really suspected that they'd be so glad to have the business that'd we'd ger the "townie discount ". I don't know what I thought that would be but $139.00 for two old Townies (65+} seeking a heated place to sleep.  No anticipation/excitement about using the pool/jacuzzi. Just settling in ordering a pizza and get some sleep.  Ordering in was not a good choice.  No one to blame but me and we wake up hungry expecting some sort of food to eat...you know, the travelers free breakfast that isn't really much to brag about but certainly something.  NOPE. After my husband spent $5.80 on an iced tea we figured we'd better get out of there before we found ourselves needing a second mortgage on the property we could then return to. I chose one star because it's the lowest rating available. Short story is that this establishment is no longer a hotel or place for travelers. The previous reviews are spot on.....it closes on the 10/31/21 and sadly the skeleton crew staff doesn't have the resources to even provide guests with a decent stay. 1. There were no towels. 2. The room was dirty. 3. Pretty sure I saw a guy smoking a cigarette come walking out of the room as I was trying to find it. 4. I went in the room and it smelled like fresh cigarette smoke-even though it's non-smoking. 5. There were 3 locks on the door, 2 were busted. 6. The TV had one channel and didn't work no matter how you switch the input. 7. Wanted to plug in my chromecast, the plug behind the TV was stripped completely and hanging out of the wall (decided not to plug it in). 8. Kitchenette had 1 suspect looking pot and plates that had not been used/cleaned in quite some time. 9. Refrigerator was dirty. 10. Bathroom was dirty. 11. Property is old and falling apart and the little couch had stains on it. 12. I did not feel safe leaving my bags in the room since there were people living there on either side and the locks sucked. I stayed one night, only b/c we checked in late at night and my boyfriend was with me. First thing in the morning, we checked out (even though the plan was to stay for 4 days). I have been here in the past.....it's definitely changed and should just close. There's no breakfast or food on site. They literally should stop advertising as a hotel. It's a shame what is being done to guests, staff, and the residents that live there now.
