8pm on a friday- We stand at the empty host stand for several minutes. A passing servers sees us and brings us to a table. We are handed greasy iPads instead of traditional menus. Tablets are an absolutely terrible replacement for a menu. Every section is in a different folder and every description is hidden behind the name of the dish. really not fun to look at. Compared to other restaurants that have their entire menu on one large page.. you are able to look at the entire menu at a glance. Anyway we sit at the table for probably 7 minutes looking at this iPad… our server disappeared since she sat us and we have been alone the entire time. None of the food or drink seemed very interesting. we left and went to max fish and had the best time.

Really disappointing experience. Came here for Mother's Day brunch and left feeling disgruntled. The brunch itself was small and dimly lit, though the interior of the restaurant was pleasant and sun drenched. The food was really infuriating. About 80% of the dishes available were absolutely not fresh, and even when the staff refilled them I found one of two things to be coming out of my mouth-"This doesn't taste like anything. It's completely flavorless" OR "The entirety of this dish tastes like [one spice or herb]". For the money they asked for, Pond House absolutely did not deliver. My wife and I agreed we would have been better off going out for some tacos.

wow, what a surprise!!! We had some of the best service we have had in a very long time. Thank you so much Rose. You made our experience exceptional!! All of our apps were great except the $11 steak rolls, should have been on the $7 price. Other than that we will be in on the reg. Thank you pond house for your awesome hire in Rose, she really does a GREAT job!!!!

In response to Matthew R.'s comment, I concur. BUT, the Pond House Grille has hired a "Chef de Cuisine" that is largely unqualified, and the company he used to work for has a habit of using too much of one spice or seasoning. When I found out the guy worked at The Pond House Grille, living in the area, I went there to experience the food. I was largely disappointed. But HEY! The ice water was cold!
