        It was a very busy evening at Luces but it was no excuse for the food to be compromised. Zuppa de pece was loaded with frozen calamari and the sauce was generic. Used in all the recipes. The waiter was gracious. The atmosphere was very nice. The food was not acceptable I will return when its not so busy.

        We were a party of 4 with a 7 pm reservation. We were seated promptly. Service was a little slow coming to take drink orders. Appetizers were Calamari and Panna Cotte . Apps were good . Ahi tuna entre was orderd and very good. They ran out of Filet Mignon so substituted NY Strip ( which was very tough and raw) Branzino was extremely fishy with way too many capers . Veal parm was also a little chewy. I have been here many times but this visit was disappointing to say the least
