Does not accept most insurance and they do not tell you until you get there for your appointment then they respond with if you didnt ask us why would we tell you

I have been a patient of Dr Distelman in Guilford for many years. I was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes and had surgery on the left eye in March which went well. Unfortunately I was ill on the morning of surgery for the right eye and had to reschedule. I talked to Beth who scheduled me to have it done in October. I called the office about a month later to ask about eye drops and was told by Beth that my surgery was not on schedule for October and I had to wait until 2023!!!! I told her that was unacceptable as I was wearing a patch on the right eye due to double vision. She told me there was no more room on her list for October surgery and she could not help me. I tried to talk to The Doctor but each time I called I was told he was unavailable.SO DISAPPOINTED with this Guilford practice.
