The property management here is horrible! Very hostile, and refuse to let their current tenants prosper. They'll let employees give false information, and stand on being hostile and rude as their management plan of action. I dont not recommend. The assistant property manager was very difficult to work with.

Terrible management and terrible maintenance. If you're lucky enough to have absolutely no problem with your property, you'd be a rare tenant and likely encoruaged to pop up with a fancy little 5 star review. When a problem does arise, it is often ignored until legal action is threatened, or the cheapest solution is provided, enough to hide the problem from anyone that might bring attention to it. Don't get locked out of your apartment, either, they won't even provide the courtesy of unlocking your door for you, despite you being required to give them a key to access your property when you sign your lease. This is an incredibly basic expectation of any landlord. You're insted told to call out and pay a locksmith, to enter their building and your apartment, because they can't be bothered to do their job. Infestations? You get to live with that. They might come by and spray some RAID, if you're lucky, but that won't be until they gaslight you about the problem or accuse you of the cause. Infestation of rodents? Also your problem. Enjoy the rat traps they set down in the hallways and pick up before they display an apartment to a potential tenant. For that you might get lucky enough to be informed that "no one else has rats" despite all your neighbors also compaining to them--and you--about the rats. Forget it if you have a mold problem. They hardly even updated buildings to have legally acceptable anti-fire measures and you think they did anything to reduce the black mold growing in the walls? Don't expect bathroom vents in half the buildings, and even if you do your part to control humidity, you can do nothing about everyone else in the building. Crime in your building? Oh well! That's also your problem! Squatters? Oh well! Drug users dumping their burnt spoons and needles in public locations? Well, it'll get swept up, but broken doors and windows will sit that way for weeks to months. Peak Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss behavior whenever you try to resolve anything, most especially if you are on the lower end of the income demographic. The exploitation is incredible, with management making up completely false reasons to raise rent or demand more for a security deposit that they'll quickly retract the moment you get legal assistance involved. They even go as far as to break basic housing laws, accusing you of not understainding that it's "their company policy" to break Fair Housing laws. Again, all of this quickly gets retracted the moment you introduce legal aid to the situation. They expect the lower income tenants to not have that capability, and thus take advantage of those individuals the worst, giving them poor living conditions with little expectation of retaliation. Find better for yourself and for your money, no one deserves to be mistreated in securing a housing solution for themselves.

As of right now I have no heat. I've called maintenance three times with no results. I plan on having a word with the rental office on Monday morning, which I hope will do something.

I first rented from Intertown when I was in college. Went off to NYC for many years. Now that I'm back, I'm happy to say I'm back with Intertown. They are professional, helpful, and considerate. Now that I'm older, I've had to face many problems, and Beckie and Steve have been a tremendous help. Intertown is a great company to rent from, and I'm happy to be living here.
