If I could give negative stars, I definitely would! I had my cataract surgery done with multifocal vision lense inserted. I am only 50 years and I am 50% blind to read anything! Whenever I call him, he's always  "with the patient" and only returns calls when he knows when I can't be on the phone.He denies that he has done anything wrong, He suggests that I would have to get another surgery by him????? REALLY???? After he made me 50% blind???

The optician at this optical office broke my expensive, high-quality frame and replaced it with a cheap, low-quality frame. Said that was best they could do. Doctor Weitzman ignored my request to address the matter. Also ignored inquiry by BBB.

I was sitting at work in May 2008 and all of a sudden I couldn't see out my left eye.  I went to see Dr. Weitzman in May 2008 thru Nov. 2008 and he gave me SEVERAL Treatments of LASER over several weeks.  I still didn't get my eyesight back.  Then finally my sister found Dr. D'Amico (Weill Cornell, 1305 York Street, New York, New York.  Thank goodness for Dr. D'Amico.  I went to NY to the 11th floor Dr. D'Amico said to me (You have a 60% chance of getting your eyesight back, if you want the surgery make the appt. with my secretary and walked out the room.  Well now I know why Dr. D'Amico is to the point.  I had 1 surgery and got my eyesight back after 4 months.  I didn't need LASER, my eye detached (tore) and my vitreous liquid went behind the eyeball!!!!   Dr. D'Amico said:  he took out my eyeball, cut all the scar tissue off the back of my eye and re attached my eye and shot the eye with over a 1,000 shots of LASER to stop the hemorrhage.  I will Never go to another EYE DOCTOR AGAIN IN CONNECTICUT.  I only go to Dr. D'AMICO!!
