I love this store because they have a very electic selection compared to the other stores in the area. The women who work here always have great suggestions, and they know thier wine! Try the Donati Claret, it's amazing! They also did holiday gift wrapping for me at no charge! I wish everyone realized how great they are and how much work they do, and how much they deal with from the rude and self centered people who live in Fairfield. From people demanding covid tests... (there now a no covid testing sign) to those refusing to follow basic state guidelines, (also posted up front) to the belligerent neighborhood drunks, I give them credit as I was never able to deal with such outlandish people when I worked in retail decades ago. It makes me sad to see how often they get treated poorly for making simple requests, and am pretty sure the majority of the bad reviews come from those who can't even show basic consideration for others, as living nearby I stop in often and see people acting rudely. Not to mention the way people tear through this parking lot...I've almost been run over walking in on more than one occasion. (I live down the street!) While this store may have rough edges at times it has come a long way from where it was and definitely doesn't deserve these petty reviews. Thank you ladies for all you do, and continuing to work through the pandemic.
