Staff is very nice no complaints about that communication could be a bit better spoke to several staff members there and was told several different things regarding my visit. Very confusing and aggravating. Also very aggravating having to come back not 1,2, or 3 but 4 times to finally be able to order my contacts waste of my time. Being someone that comes from the blue collar work force time is money, having to take time off work to come in for several 5-10min appointment is quite annoying. I would just like to order my contacts and be on my way.

I've been going here for quite a few years. I've never had a negative experience. The staff are wonderful. They are so accommodating if you need to run in to have your glasses fixed or even to order another pair WITHOUT an appointment. The exams are quick and thorough. If you need or want an earlier appointment that the one given you're put on a 'stanby' list and you get a call or text as soon as someone cancels and are offered that appointment if you can take it. All insurance is excepted, included State of CT. I hope this review helps you to decide if this practice is the right one for you. I definitely reccomend going here.

Go some where else. UnitedHealth Care recommended them to me, but now I'm sorry I went there. My glasses needed to be remade, [the script was wrong for me], I didn't want the tint that I originally paid for but they won't give me my $67.00 back. 1st I was told that was the insurance Co pay, but UHC told me they only cover $300.00 per yr for glasses. No natter what you get, you have to pay the difference. Save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. 12/15 Sorry Durham Family Eyecare I don't have problems everywhere as you stated. A lot of reviews, there are 5 or 6 that are bad. Obviously you don't know that reviews are to let people know your experience at the place. If the service sucked, and I feel ripped off, no you're not getting a good review. I have NEVER had a problem getting glasses. Ever. Until I went to you. Maybe if your refund/exchange policy was in plain site, or your office manager wasn't a bully, things would have turned out differently. FYI my neighbor got her glasses from you too, and she hates them and is back to using her "cheaters" as I guess it's not just me.

The staff here is always so kind and professional. I am always taken in on time for my appointment. Dr.Sites and assistants are really thorough! I recommend highly!
