I dislike writing reviews on healthcare professionals and I really didn't want to give a 1-star although it may deserve it. Here is my view on this. If you're a male looking/seeking for help and its your first time, please look somewhere else. I have previous therapists who was understanding and never tried to criticize me. My first hour of interaction, put me down in a hole and I felt belittled. I was worse after the appointment that I had to seek help somewhere else, because I was afraid of what the next appointment will come out of. It's already difficult for males to seek help for mental well being. I also disagree with diagnosing someone on their first therapy session.

When I started seeing Kate, she was helpful. But then not so much. My bf and I both wanted to navigate a healthy relationship, but in the end he felt so pressured by what I needed he broke up with me. Shes compare her relationship to mine and who could keep up ... then shes insist my bf had Aspergers and had to be trained. Long story short, her last words to me were I could have told you this was going to happen, you put so much pressure on him, he was of course going to break it off... if my therapist was interested in helping me overcome my own insecurities to feel better about myself, I would have never sought his validation to feel a certain way, and wed still be happily together.

Kate has been very helpful, I have been her client for over a year and so far she's the best therapist I've seen in years

Amazing professional. Basically saved my sanity. Was and still is very helpful as I am going thru a huge crisis right now. Always makes herself as available as possible. Very proactive but doesn't take sides. This therapist will not work your problems for you but she will make you work them out yourself and provides a helping hand while you are doing it.

I have known Kate for many years now and she has helped me navigate through many difficult challenges throughout my life including dealing with a toxic co-parent, and toxic relationships. She has walked me through many difficult and painful experiences within my life. She has helped me set boundaries and confidently weed out negative sources in my life that were contributing to much toxicity in my life. She avails herself during times of crisis and has always helped me walk away feeling confident within myself with a game plan on how to manage and navigate through it. She is an expert in her field, beyond smart, and knows her field inside and out and has been one of the only providers to be able to correctly identify specific issues and the proper way to address them. She also collaborates on a team level with other providers in assuring that things are addressed the best way possible. I trust her with my life and would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone who can actually help you change your life in miraculous ways.
