Absolutely brilliant gourmet pizza! If it were possible to have too many great pizza places (it's not), I'd say Bethel has that problem. But, when it has to be pizza and it has to be fancy, Lauretano is tops. One bite of the fresh bread sticks and you'll have a good idea what kind of pie you'll be treated to soon. Thin, chewy dough with a touch of char, all top quality ingredients, done in a wood-fired oven. Everything else on the menu, appetizers, salads, and entrees are all great, too, but you're there for the pizza. If I had to give a criticism, the ambiance isn't up to the same level as the food and it can get a little noisy for conversation. Their jazz shows bring in fantastic talent from far away, but it's a pricey night out and you'll want to get there early to get a good table.

Fabulous way to spend a Sunday evening - great live jazz in a low key pizzeria with delicious pizzas and salads. Must have reservations, small restaurant but worth it!
