John at Wakelee Memorial is the best, he was very compassionate, attentive, listen to our needs. He was very informative, did an outstanding job with the arrangements, the entire staff is amazing. He was avaliable day or night, went above and beyond his duties, did more than we asked for, I'm so glad we put our trust in him to take care of our mother. John and Millie have been an immense help putting together two beautiful funerals after the loss of my aunt and grandfather. Everything went so smoothly and it really helped my family during the difficult times. Highly recommend Wakelee to any person going through a loss of a relative/friend!

Wakelee Funeral Home did a great job with my grandfathers funeral. The place is clean and the military service was a beautiful tribute to his life. John was very nice and accommodating and everything went smoothly considering we were coming from out-of-state and all correspondence was over the phone or through email. I would highly recommend this funeral home.

John came into our life between medical treatment and hospice. My mother Shirley Harpool died unexpectedly before hospice started. It wasn't just the funeral arrangements. He helped with red tape, the military aspect, coordinated with her Church and held our hands through all of it. His caring helped us make tough decisions but his knowledge enabled us to mourn instead of fighting through this all on our own. She would have loved the service, arrangements, and that he cared enough to help her loved ones.
