I wish I could give zero stars. I was tossed around to different providers constantly, dead named, misgendered, misdiagnosed, and overall treated like trash. I suffered for three years thinking this was the norm and it was my lot in life to suffer. ONE appointment with a provider outside of this practice and I’m appalled at how horribly I was treated and how disrespected I was with MHP. People come to you for help and the way you respond is despicable beyond all measure. We are not less than simply because we are chronically ill.

I had one of their doctors start me on the highest dose of a new ADHD medication (rather than tapering which is common practice) which created serious health problems for me. Countless times I have been standing at a pharmacy learning that my doctor has -yet again- not completed the steps necessary for me to access my medication. This frequent negligence has taken me by surprise and left me to go another several days (sometimes weeks or months) without my meds, which I need to function. The most frustrating thing about this is waiting for their front office staff to relay these types of time-sensitive messages because they don’t even have access to their own provider’s phone numbers! I do see that the front office staff are doing their best, I don’t think this organization has given them the lines of communication necessary for them to help people the way they would probably like to. I wanted to like this place, but I really do feel like the stigma around mental health has shaped their employee’s attitudes.
