Kevin was quick to gather information for myself and my wife who has a complex medical condition, and thus a complicated life insurance case to make with the underwriters. At first he was very responsive and followed up frequently with underwriter questions, and I felt like we were in good hands to get her a policy. In the mean time he also sold me a relatively simple and straight-forward policy. As soon as my policy was finalized it felt as though he completely dropped off the radar. I've have had to follow up with him in 4 separate instances during the time period September 2020 through now April 2020 and we have made very little progress on my wife's policy. I last heard from him on these occasions: September 19th, in which I did not hear from him until I followed up on October 26th. Again from October 26th I had to follow up on February 8th. Again from February 10th I had to follow up on March 19th. And currently I have last heard from him on March 22nd and it is now April 11th. I have been trying to get a policy for my wife since June of 2020 and we have made very little progress with all of these communication gaps. I understand my wife's policy is difficult to place, maybe impossible in these current circumstances with COVID, but the lack of communication since my policy was finalized (in some cases months with zero contact as you can see above) is really unprofessional and tells me that this business exists just to take commission on easy to place policies and really has no interest in going the extra mile to help with anything that might be slightly difficult. What's worse is every time I follow up Kevin has given us a glimmer of hope that Company X may be able to insure her at $XX, so I have been patient and waited and waited and waited and still nothing. I should have sought out a different broker months ago but I did not, my mistake. Bottom line is, if you have a situation that is even slightly complex, I would look elsewhere.
