Vail Sports

Guy who was helping me with my rental (his name is Ben Argentina) was very rude and ignored that I was a beginner. Rushed me through when I didn't know how to put on boots, and also knocked over my girlfriends skis without saying anything. Other staff seemed ok.

Hope this is the place we rented from but if Kyle Anthony or someone by that name works here, he was tremendously helpful! First time skiing for me and the 4 boys and we had to get rentals for ski school and he got us registered real fast and rentals for all. Later that night, dropped our skis off at true north valet and somehow, it wasnt there the next day when we went skiing..so Kyle helped us again and got us new ski rentals. This location was across from the childrens ski school in Lionshead square. Amazing service and hospitality. Everyone there was super helpful.

Basically you cant get closer to the gondola so if your not keen on lugging gear this is the spot. Good equipment , attentive staff, Vail prices (I think the concierge locker service is worth it).

My brother and I werent sure where to rent online. After doing some research, it was clear that Vail Sports was the best choice. The original plan for our trip was to ski Vail, Breck, and Beaver Creek. Vail Sports is owned by the same people as Breckenridge Sports, and Beaver Creek Sports. This means you can interchange your skis/snowboards/boots at any of these locations for no additional charge. We chose the demo package, and I skied on 9 different skis in 3 days, and also changed my boots once due to some discomfort. Taylor and his staff treated our every need, and made the entire process simple and smooth. Thank you Vail Sports, we will be returning soon! :)
