Pepi's Bar & Restaurant

My wife and I went into Pepi's last Sunday (4/7). We walked in at approximately 7:35 PM and sat at the bar. It was an odd atmosphere. The bartender (dark-haired guy that I believe was speaking Portuguese) was too busy talking with friends (both in person and on the phone) and seemed annoyed my wife and I sat at the bar. But, we decided to give him a shot since we really wanted a drink to celebrate our anniversary...our mistake. After a few minutes he served us some water. We were ready to order, but he walked away quickly so we waited. After waiting about 15 minutes while he entertained his buddies and whoever was on the phone (5 of which we spent staring at him, which obviously didn't work), we left. We have both worked as servers and bartenders at numerous places in our careers. If we showed the level of complacency and laziness of this bartender at any employer, we would have been fired. Hard Stop. People like that should not be working when there are plenty of good, conscientious employees who won't lose businesses money. If the owner reads these reviews, not only did the bartender cost you my business forever, but as a Summit County local, I will steer everyone I speak with away from Pepi's. I have to be in Vail for work 3 times this summer. If he hasn't gotten fired yet, I will get the bartender's name and inform the owner as well as post his name here so you can steer clear of him as well.

Absolutely terrible service. Especially the blonde haired older lady was very rude and inconsiderate to my gay brother

Mid but its just a sports bar. Good place to grab a drink and some food! Casual, centrally located, and probably fun at night for a younger crowd
