New York Gyros & Subs

Not sure what everyone is talking about but you pay good money for better stuff if you would rather have nasty flat irons gyros then let them mess your food up this place makes great food and decent price

Decent people who run it and decent food. The only downside is how incredibly expensive it is. I would much rather eat somewhere else for the price.

For $10 you can get a meal deal, and it is so worth it. The gyros are huge, the sauces are excellent, and the owner is really nice. The compared to the other restaurant down 120th, this one is vastly superior in so far as value, taste, and service.

Pretty good. Way too expensive. Way too much food. Wife asked for double meat, I didn't. We got the same amount of meat in the gyro. Waste of $2. Falafel was really pretty lame. Looked like they came from frozen, pre-formed in a factory. Waste of $5. For a total of $30, not at all worth what we got. We'd go back again if prices were lower. As for the lamb, it was good, though over-salted. The gyro is the size of a house. You get what you pay for. The problem is that what you get is probably too much. They call it New York style, but use a product claiming to be chicago's best. There are about a hundred restaurants I'd rather spend $30 on.
