Hello, Jonathan Charles Martin small business start up and hopefully unencumbered by the IRS soon. Well we'll find out anyway. I spoke with a gentleman on the phone yesterday about my horrible financial filing system and, my concern regarding, my disinterest in the care I have aloud others to take with my finance's safety. I'm not gonna lie I was worked up! and when Uncle Sam sends you a letter saying, (Hey why did you put ect.. on line ......... And do you remember what your total earnings are for tax year......... Your supposed to keep those records for .........then you manage to retort with (.....eh...huh...?... didn't... There's no way...huh...).Ha. Now I'm think about that song send lawyers,.. guns,.. and, ..money. No I'm hoping for a far less interesting outcome. Never the less I figured I'd call a professional . And that's what I got. Out by the home Depot there in Sterling. This feller ken was the the first number picked in a random and, uneducated attempt at clemency with the IRS. He didn't seem to get worked up on the phone, I called to tell him I was running late and, he told me take your time finish up what your doing, I'm here. I eventually made a right on to Mr. Skipworths drive and, he met me out side. He invited me over to where he was sitting and, we pecked at the little knotted ball, of concerns which was my taxes. We made small talk and, he would throw in a question or two in when he wanted a little more information. He gave me some of his his work history and, when he got into this side of business. Now don't quote me but, I'm pretty sure he was well into his career before settling here locally in Sterling in 1989, he seemed happy with the decision. So after he got all off the ( Now how can they.....when I wasn't... And I can't make heads or tails of it's... I could muster he in invited me in to off load the (In all seriousness) suitcase full of papers which had not yet given the concern they no doubt deserved, we covered a few more aspects of business. We had a talk about what I had and a direction he was going to start in. The next thing he said, made me put quite a bit of stock in the feller. He had a talk with me about fraud and creative accounting and the standards he keeps him self too. Then he explained more than one way that things can be made right without such practices . He explained it in a way that made me feel as though he had watched more than one person make the mistake of being creative. I think to illustrate that it was, an unneeded step if you start of with the right person. Now I hope no one gets the wrong Mr. Skipworths made no promise of or expectation except that he would get things sorted . I feel like I hired some one who is well educated in his craft and, he holds himself to a certain moral standard. Traits I find admirable. I've found in my dealings that people who make too many compromises tend to share those practices in more than one aspect of their dealings . Ken sir if you read this your the first contact I ever had that says my new accountant . Thank you for your time Sir. J.C.M
