To: Sarah Ross Figueroa (sp?) This is late coming as my sister Bonnie W. has already been discharged. Nevertheless it's important to convey my apppreciation for the care she received while at your facility. In the past few years I have been my sister's POA when it comes to her health. Durinng that time I have encountered many clinical individuals responsible for managing her care. None more thorough, professional, competent and supportive as you, not just towards her, but for me as well. My sister presented with not just serious physical challenges, but emotional distress as well. Thanks to the overall approach of you and your team, and your insights/understanding/knowledge and recommendations of the appropriate treatment plan required, my sister progressed in her recovery quite well. I just want to thank you and your team again for taking such good care of Bonnie. Most everyone in my family is a health care professional...we know good care when we see it. In today's environment where institutions such as yours are known for terrible conditions in general, you and the staff at Sterling Health & Rehab can be proud. With sincere appreciation and gratitude, Linda W.

Very rude and unprofessional I cant express how awful this facility is most all the staff was very rude questioning why my family was there to visit a family member who was staying there One of my family members had COPD and the front office lady told me I couldnt bring her oxygen in because it was a safety hazard. I proceeded to tell her that she needed her oxygen to breathe. Shes on 4 L of oxygen once she rolled her eyes and let me through after the 15 minute ordeal I finally made it to the room, but I proceeded to find out that my aunt had just passed away 5 minutes ago.

I give this a one star, if it could go lower I would give it a zero. The care and hospitality, bedside manner the administration were the worst Ive ever witnessed. I cant even imagine putting another one of my family members through that experience again. The last week of my sisters life was the most painful, stressful days she ever lived. She told my daughter and I that if we ever put her in a joint like that again she would and didnt finish her sentence. My sister was a loving, caring, person who didnt deserve to be treated so poorly, she felt the distance they had for her when she needed them the most which broke her spirit to say the least. There is so much that we were going through daily, I could take hours going into detail the things that went on there. The day she passed( she was there only a week) we were going to take her home, but as it happened she passed before we were able to. The guilt I have to live with knowing her last days were miserable and heartbreaking is beyond words. The care she received is unacceptable. I dont know how others are treated at this place but I do know how my sister and we her family were. So I speak only for us. I do know that I will never recommend this facility to anyone.

My experience and opinion is based upon my family's time here with my mom on comfort care...basically hospice...for over a month. I wholeheartedly thank God for my momma spending her last days here. Every SINGLE staff member...literally...med staff, kitchen, janitorial, therapy, front desk, the damn people that bill you and need paperwork...yes them too. This was the most incredible and genuine place and crew I could have hoped for;while going through one of the hardest most unfathomable times in my life. Of course, I'll never forget the past month and a half, as watching a loved one fade away or slowly pass, especially my momma, seemed unbearable. The medical knowledge and driven attention; combined with sincere love, compassion, empathy, and pure realness!.That's the word that comes to mind...REAL. Every person truly made me feel comforted, comfortable, and at ease. This was something that broke me, at times, and challenged me, more than ever, but I guarantee I could NEVER have made it through this without the sincere support we were blessed with here. I witnessed many patients and residents and their care; throughout the month my mom was here. I have nothing to say, but amazing incredible. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU...to every single individual. You all loved my mom and cared for her like family, as well as myself and anyone who came to visit. I will never forget how great you all were and how much you helped me get through this. And most importantly, the unprecedented care you gave my momma. Her last days here were filled with comfort, respect, professional care, attention, among many more positive feelings. Thank God for this blessing and not the typical stereotype horror story experience. I'm not gonna lie...that's a big fear when faced with this. We love you all and can't thank you enough. Words cannot describe how grateful we feel for the dedicated badassness and care we were given. Just keepin real LOVE YOU ALL...EVERY ONE YOU
