Can't speak to other items on the menu, but the blueberry pancakes were very thick with whole blueberries! Just slightly dry for my taste, but the flavor was good. I think what I liked most about this place was the warm ambiance with wood all around. Wood stove heater at the entrance. The bar even had very old cash register (just for decor). Staff seemed nice.

We have been going to Brown Bear Cafe for about 20 years. We drive over Red Mountain Pass to get there. We have had excellent service and food all the time. We will miss Patty and Fred but hope they have an awesome retirement.
