Hi Rob, as you can see by my business name, I am a Mobile Notary Public; I do not provide walk-in service. As a Professional Mobile Notary Public, I travel to homes, businesses, medical facilities, jails/prisons and help people that value the time savings and convenience of this special type of notarial service. For people that do not need mobile services there are locations that offer walk-in service, such as the credit union that you mentioned. I certainly don't fault you for choosing a less expensive option that works for you.I offered to meet you at a public location, in Pueblo West, if you were willing to do most of the driving time for a lower fee, rather than me driving to your location in Pueblo. That is when you told me you could go to your credit union and get it for free! (In this post to Google you said they charged you $15, thus even the credit union wasn't willing to work for free.)For me to travel to most locations in Pueblo involves about 75 minutes plus the time to conduct the notarial ceremony. Traveling involves expenses for my vehicle; it is not just gasoline.Rob, please let me ask, are you willing to work 75+ minutes and pay all the costs of operating a business for $15.00?As I recall, you called me because you wanted to have a document notarized at a time that banks and credit unions are not open for business. When you learned that I can't provide mobile service for the same price as a location offering walk-in service during normal business hours, you decided that you would wait until the next day and visit your credit union. Hi Alena, When we spoke on the phone, you asked what I charged. I told you there was a trip charge and a notarization fee. I met your relative in the hospital at 7:30pm as agreed. You were not there and did not arrive until shorty before 8pm.The Will that your relative wanted notarized had blank sections in it. I explained, to your relative, that notary law allows a signer to draw a line through blanks or mark them N/A; it does not allow blank sections.Your relative did not want to add hand written information to the typed document, so I told him I could not proceed. He wanted to redraft the document and meet again on Wednesday, 2 days later.Then you arrived in his room and started yelling. You would not allow me to speak and instructed me to leave.The trip fee was earned since I made the trip. I spent over 30 minutes with your relative and did not charge any notary fees since no notarizations were completed. Respectfully,Guy
