    This is the worst company that I've ever tried to interact with. Grant is our contact person but I've never been able to speak with him. He refused to return my phone calls so I had the property manager attempt to reach him. They have called and left multiple messages without any response. I noticed that you like to respond to complaints about your company so maybe I'll actually hear back from someone this way.

    I own a town home in a complex, Parkside South, that is managed by Homeowners Concerns. I am selling this property. This company told the closing company I had an account balance of $695 without giving details. I have been paying my monthly fees automatically without any interruption. In my opinion my account balance shoud be zero. I called the office to inquire about the balance. The receptionist wont connect me with anybody. She took my tel no. and said somebody would call. Nobody called. In fact this has happened several times in the past. I also emailed Kristin, the owner, regarding this issue but never heard back fom her. In the mean time, I did not want to delay the closing, so I told the closer to deduct the balance claimed by the management company from my proceeds and that I would folliow up with the company. Later I got an email from Grant in accounting saying I had a balance of $695 that I needed to pay, again the same story, no explanation. I asked him for details, but he did not respond. I almost feel like I am talking to a wall. Seems like this company has a strategy of deliberately keeping quiet hoping that I would eventually give up and go away. The company has the worst customer service. Even a single star for them is not justified. I continue waiting to hear from them and resolve this issue.This is a warning to Home Owner Associations contemplating to hire this comoany. Sorry I have been forced to make this negative review.

    I am owner of a unit in one of the condo complexes managed by Homeowners Concerns. I have been pleasantly surprised by quality of the general maintenance of the buildings such as cleanliness, upkeep of lawns, flowers and trees, regular and prompt garbage/snow removal and security. Owner Kristin Boyd is very professional and friendly and promptly addresses individual needs or requests. I have no hesitation in giving 5 stars to Homeowners Concerns.

    After reading some of the negative comments about Homeowners Concern I feel compelled to send in a positive review. I have worked with many different HOA management companies both as a standard board member, president of the board and as a homeowner. In my experience Homeowners Concern is the best I have worked with. It's true that owner Kristin Boyd and team take their jobs personally but that is a very good thing. They get to know the board and the community. In knowing they get a deep feeling for doing what is best for the owners and the community alike. Sometimes an individual owner is told no and they view that response as combative. Not much can be done about owners that view a no as a big negative. When a owner is told no it is in the best interest of the community not because they are combative.
