I have been a patient at this practice for about 30 years and they have always been there for me. I literally grew up knowing most of the staff and they are wonderful to work with. I can't recommend them high enough, give them a try.

When I first went to Care Plus more than 15 years ago when they were still on 23 Ave., I was very happy to have Dr. Michael McKenna as my primary physician. He is very knowledgeable in general medicine and he was adept at listening to me and understanding exactly what I'm experiencing and not brushing off what I have to say and what I think I might need. Unfortunately, he is now semi-retired and only does FAA checkups, leaving all of the other general practice to two other MDs. My experience with those MDs in the past 2 years has been very disappointing. They come off to me as "by the book" doctors who can't step outside their narrow comfort zone when it comes to things like prescriptions, and seem mechanical in their responses to questions and their comments in general. They aren't nearly as empathetic as Dr. McKenna, and don't trust what I know from my own self understanding of similar past illnesses. I only give Care Plus two stars, because it's the staff there that deserve any kudos for being competent and caring. I can't in good consciousness recommend this facility for the medical care, you can find better in Longmont.
