James and his assistant Josh did a great job updating our bathroom. It's been a work in progress for a few months after we DIY updated the vanity and floor tiles. We decided to get some help with replacing our bathtub, doing a new tile surround, and replacing the toilet. The final product is amazing. The tile work was very carefully done, and James consulted us with design decisions along the way that we hadn't considered. He offered his opinion based on other bathrooms he'd done and kept us updated on progress and next steps. We definitely plan to use James again for some future projects.

I would give James -5 stars if I could. We contacted him to take a look at some items found on the inspection on a house we were buying. This is were everything went downhill and unprofessional. First he was over 2 hours late because he “forgot” our appointment. Then almost 3 weeks later sends us a $175.00 bill. Funny thing is at the time we scheduled his service there was no fee stated to come out for an estimate. Beyond unprofessional as every contractor I have ever worked with clearly states their fees up front in writing and is freaking on time!!!!! Do not use this guy, he will rip you off!!!!

James is a talented contractor and incredibly nice to work with! I first hired him last year when I needed a wall added to my house (framing, drywall, electrical). He shows up on time, keeps a clean worksite, and is a good communicator on design & budget. Immediately after the wall project I hired him for a much bigger project - replacing my front porch and balcony. A couple weeks into that project I changed the design and increased the size of the porch. I imagine that some contractors might be unhappy with changing designs after already breaking ground, but I never sensed any of that from James. He seems to really enjoy building. The porch and balcony turned out beautifully and I've attached pictures to prove it. I love his attention to detail! Planning to hire him again for a kitchen remodel. Can't recommend James enough. His work ethic was unparalleled, especially with all of the garbage contractors out there. Efficient, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and reliable. I'm already planning out our next remodel and can't imagine hiring anyone but James.
