La Sandia Park Meadows

Food was great, service was slow. The Lone Tree restaurant is closing Wed July 11, 2018 but other restaurants are open.

We have been coming to la Sandia for years. For about the last year, it has really gone downhill. We always sit in the bar area, and for so many years it was a great patron / bartender relationship. Not so much anymore. I believe in the 3 strikes rule, sorry la Sandia, this was the 3rd strike. 1. Sat at the bar for 10 min to never get asked if we wanted something. Had to ask to get a drink made 2. Asked for chips and salsa with a side of hab spice. Got the spice, not chips or salsa 3. Had to ask for a menu. After browsing was never asked if we wanted to order. They actually asked for my menu back, but no order 4. Had to ask for every drink, never an offer I watched every person that came in, sit and endure the same pain. I will miss you, but it is time for this relationship to be over. Goodbye

Absolutely loved the place, and the food. The service was a bit slouchy though. Took forever to get a spoon for my soup and salsa sauce for my chips! The roasted tomato soup tasted deliciously yummy. Recommended!
