Montessori School At Ken Caryl

Wonderful experience for my daughter who attended for three years. Sadly, the school will close its doors this week Friday. This represents one final plea to save the school from mounting debt. The school needs $50,000 to reorganize into a state of fiscal prosperity. Thank you for reading.

I have 2 boys at MSKC and we all love it. MSKC really respects the Montessori method, while allowing us to deeply influence our boys' experience. For example, we didn't feel like our youngest was ready to potty train, we like to wait a little longer than the school normally does - we were a little nervous to bring it up but the teacher, assistant and director were super supportive and made us feel like they really care about the boys and our parenting approaches. At the same time, they take the Montessori method seriously, with fully-trained teachers that are just great at encouraging our kids to play and learn and work through challenges "on their own," all within a context of easy discipline with "everything in its place." We get regular emails with updates from the classroom as well as various administrative updates, parents are encouraged to participate in many different ways, there's a great community. I can't recommend it enough!

I can't say enough about how Montessori School at Ken Caryl. Both of my children have attended this school from toddler through kindergarten. The teachers, staff, and programs are amazing. They offer kindermusik, art class, jump bunch and other wonderful extracurricular activities. The school is non profit and has a very involved parent community that are all invested in their children and in making the school the best it can be. This creates a unique environment in that the Director does not profit from the school. They are as dedicated and invested as the families that attend.
