Been going here for about five years. Very personal staff. Great menu items for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The owner, Barry, has become a family friend. Great place!

Met here during off-peak hours with colleagues for a meeting some time ago. One person had a meal, others had coffee or iced tea. When the owner realized we weren't all eating he freaked out and said we had 10 minutes to get out and started demanding $10 per person. He didn't collect the $10 per person and our group left a very nice tip for the server, but I promise you that none of us will ever set foot in this place again. He got incredibly loud "This place is for dinner! Next time go to Starbucks! I will charge you $10 per person for this! We are for dinner!" Keep in mind there were only 2 tables occupied in the entire restaurant and they were in the next room. Inexcusable. Do not give your money to this place. PS When your name has "Cafe" in it, sitting around and casually enjoying a cup of coffee or tea, especially when the place is almost entirely empty, should be more than welcome.

I read reviews on this place before I decided to take my girlfriend on a special date here. I decided to give it a shot and was completely amazed at this place. It was elegant to say the least. Reasonably priced, great service, and quiet. AND THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. Me and my gf had the best date ever at this place. The owner was the nicest guy in the world. THIS IS THE BEST DATE PLACE EVER. I normally don't write reviews but this place amazed me so much that I had to do it! How anyone has given this place a bad review is beyond me. I highly recommend this restaurant.

They have now changed the name to The Bistro at Aspen Grove. Solid menu, good food. Seems more crowded since the name change. Its bigger than it looks from the outside Overall nice atmosphere and good food. Staff was very busy, but friendly enough.
