        Weve been frequenting Via Baci for about 15 years and have loved it, going about 20 times a year and also ordering delivery. Tonight my wife and friend went there after attending a play at about 8:40. The waitress said the kitchen was about to close so she needed to hurry her order. Then, once the food came, they refused to serve a glass of wine as the bar was closed. Seems like the service is more concerned about closing and going home than providing great service to the guests. We miss Christine!!! May need to take our business elsewhere if this trend continues.

        I am from the Chicago area, so my views are tainted. I ordered the Pepperoni Pizza, the Bolognese, and the full Caesar Salad. The pizza tasted okay, but the dough was very flimsy. It totally sagged when you ate a piece with your hands. Maybe some people like that style. It did have a good spice to it. The Bolognese was also average. Good sauce that needed some salt. The noodles werent quite what I was expecting. They were very wide noodles. The Caesar salad was blah. I did carry-out. The order was ready quickly and promptly. A bit pricey for what I got, but thats the way the world is going. I had higher expectations based on other reviews.
