Colorado Trout Hunters-Fly Fishing Guides

I can't tell you what an amazing experice Colorado Trout Hunters provided for me and my friends. Words can't describe the feeling and the memories we will hold onto for the rest of our lives. Danny and Jonathan were absolutly AMAZING. I caps this because they were. They are some of the hardest working individuals I have ever met. The knowlege, the expertise, the love for what they do, and the way they treated us was 2nd to none. I would book at trip with them again in a heartbeat.

If I could could give 100 stars I would. Danny set me up with an unbelievable fishing experience for three days for my son and I, on private water ( the way to go). Our guide Jonathan was excellent: patient, knowledgeable experienced, I run out of adjectives to describe how great he was.... We were on fish immediately, we lost count after ten fish a piece. On our second day when fishing was a little tough, he never stopped trying different techniques and flies. Colorado trout hunters are the way to go, just show up with a Colorado fishing license and they do the rest! If we come back to Colorado next year we will defiantly fish with Colorado trout hunters.

I just had my second guiding experience with CTH. I went with Danny again, this time my girlfriend came along as well. We booked a private water trip and we told Danny that we had some specific techniques we wanted to dial in. Danny brought us to the most beautiful spot and it was completely full of gloriously huge and happy trout and he expertly instructed us on our fishing technique. That’s the beauty of this company, you get a great day of fishing and then you walk away with extremely valuable knowledge to help you in your un-guided fly fishing adventures. I consider Danny a great friend and I cannot recommend this company enough. No need to look anywhere else for the best Colorado fly fishing experience.

I booked a full day trip for my son and I. We are novices and Angelo at Colorado Trout Hunters was fantastic. He educated us on all things fly-fishing, was incredibly friendly and patient and helped us fight through some very difficult fishing conditions down in Deckers (murkey waters and 20+mph winds). All day he was putting us on fish, including a 22+ inch rainbow my son caught that left him speechless. Awesome day with an awesome guide and we will definitely be using them again in the future. Highly recommend!!
