    Used them a couple years ago to update the electrical panel and add wiring for a washer and dryer in the basement. They did a great job - clean, quick, reasonably priced! I was so happy with the work and price, I will be using them again for some electrical work in the kitchen.

    Ryan was my contact with the company and he did a wonderful job for my mom when we had an issue of only part of the her house having power. He found it was the breaker panel and some of the breaker switches was not working. Did a wonderful job at the replacement and very honest about everything done. Quite refreshing to have such honesty and professional work.

    In response to the review below, I am happy to say I have a copy of the invoice with the listed scope of work. It does not say dedicated circuit for a space heater. The job has been done for a year, it passed inspection in the city of Aurora. Our warranty does not cover an overloaded circuit by a space heater! Unfortunately this customer unknowingly overloaded their circuit many times over and needs a breaker replacement, with a dedicated circuit installed for this heater!(I have the quote available now) call to install it we are happy to help! I put content out every month on face book and several times a year we cover space heaters and how to use them safely! Check us out on social media!

    Unfortunately there is no way to give 0 stars. Live Wire did the work, we had some hiccups along the way, but we managed them. However, one of the breakers they installed is faulty. They are refusing to replace it under warranty and want to charge us for it. However, the reason for this review is more than anything because of the way my wife and I were treated by Ryan. He was rude and dismissive and unreasonable. I will be investigating legal options to force them to honor their warranty, and then I hope I NEVER hear from them again.

    Sadly, after using Ryan for years and having nothing but positive experiences, something has drastically changed in his customer service in the past 6 months. I'm all about giving the benefit of the doubt, but 2 major issues have presented themselves and I will no longer refer or personally use his services going forward. I provided a referral, and Ryan forgot the appointment. I assisted in getting it rescheduled with my friend, Ryan's blamed me for the error, to my friend and was so unprofessional that when he presented what needed to be corrected, my friend did not want him to do the work. He was rude with her, and what was worse, is that after he left, he sent ME an invoice and demanded payment to cover the trip fee. I was shocked and responded that I would not be paying and if he has a trip or consult fee, he needs to let the client know prior to the appointment. Not to mention, I've provided several jobs to him by referral and personal business over the past 3 years. So was very surprised by his reaction. We both came to an understanding that we'd leave this behind us and move forward. A few months later, I needed a personal Electrical Inspection (with report) for a property I was purchasing. Ryan agreed to do this for a set fee. He provided an invoice for the work that needed to be completed based upon his Inspection, but never provided the report. When I requested the report so I could provide it to the seller, I received this text back: "I will write a report for another $125. I do expect payment for my techs time to go out and evaluate the system. I don't have time for this actually and the last time we did business it was a total loss (he was referring to the circumstances described above from my referral). I think I'm done dealing with you Stacey I appreciate our past business but I'm to busy to deal with this kind of headache. Enjoy your vacation!" These 2 interactions have completely burned the bridge for any possibility of more business. He has already agreed to provide a report for the $125.... It's a sad ending to a long relationship. But twice in a couple months and a text that basically said my business is not valued.... Hopefully, Ryan can evaluate and improve and not treat clients like this in the future.
