Title One of Colorado

I was not impressed with Title One. Josh would not return my calls and got the transfer amount wrong resulting in a minor fire on close day to put out. The closing agent was harsh and unpolished and spoke to us in an overly authoritative manner. I also had to really stay on top of her to get soft copies - she seemed lazy and tried to do as little as possible. I would use a different title company if I have a choice next time.

Worst closing ever. First off, the closer seemed to blame my Buyer's for the late figures from the Lender, which my Buyer's had nothing to do with. Then the closer spent the remainder of the closing rolling her eyes every time a question was asked, or anytime I explained something, like the Real Property Transfer Form, which was not explained properly by the closer. Lastly, the closer said the wire from the Lender was wrong, which prevented the Buyer's from getting their keys to the property. The Buyer's needed to go meet with the moving truck that they hired, while I had to wait back for the resolution so I could get the keys to the new house. Turns out the wire was NOT wrong (how could it be anyway, the lender and title company BALANCED PRIOR to closing???) The closer just didn't understand the breakdown of fees included in the wire, nor did she care. She took no effort in trying to get this resolved, all the while being aware of the moving truck situation and me sitting in the lobby for an additional 2 hours. While the buyer's stalled the movers, I had to rush to the new house, and unlock it, so that the movers were able to put the furniture somewhere. This loan closed in November, and I just found out today (January 11th), that the closer didn't follow the insurance instructions and mailed the insurance check to the wrong address! The Buyer's have been uninsured for 2 months! The closer took no responsibility for any of these errors, and the issues continue to roll in.
