The facility is an older facility, but don't let that deceive you! The staff at Lakewood Villa are beyond incredible. This is the third facility we have had our loved one at and by far, my loved one is the happiest and most cared for at Lakewood Villa.
The transition to a new facility is stressful. The staff at Lakewood Villa welcomed our loved one and our family with open arms, answering all of our questions and reassuring us that our loved one would be treated with respect and as a member of the Lakewood Villa family. My loved one is safe, well cared for, and happy, which is the best outcome we could ask for during a difficult time.
A special shout-out to Ellen S. for all of her help (and patience) in helping us to navigate the Medicaid process and understanding our loved one's financial situation.
What a blessing Lakewood Villa has been for our family and our loved one. THANK YOU!

The people that run that place is very rude and doesn't keep there parking lot cleared of snow for emergency personnel.

I am a travel nurse, traveling the country, and Lakewood Villa opened their doors and allowed me to work with them. The staff are great with their residents and administration are very involved with the day to day care. Staff are very attentive and ready to answer any questions you may have. It has been a pleasure to work here on my journey and I plan on coming back when in the area.

I was the weekend supervisor at this facility after it came under new management. I wrote a very long, very detailed review about why this place is a horrible place to work and a scary place to put your loved ones. The management team had it taken down - which should really tell you all you need to know about this company.
I posted quite a lot more detail on my review on this company's Facebook page. I've also written detailed reviews on Yelp and a few other senior care websites warning people about the dangerous conditions at Lakewood Villa. You might want to do some digging before you make the mistake of working for this company. I would rather put my parents in a cardboard box down by the river than put someone I care about in this facility.
