I would actually give these folks about 4.75 stars. Mainly, they were amazing. Carlos even fixed—on HIS recommendation—my front door! I couldn’t believe it. It was great to have a door that actually opens and closes easily. Carlos and company were incredibly friendly and dedicated to doing a great job. They spent about ten hours doing everything that needed doing. First came a deep vacuuming of the carpets using a special vacuum that I could barely lift. Immediately, an impressive change in the look of the rugs. I would have already been thrilled if that was all they did. Then they cleaned the ductwork and furnace. All I can say is that my sneezing spells have almost disappeared since they did this. Them came the actual carpet cleansing. They did an absolutely great job. I won’t go into deal here, but suffice it to say that the before–after difference was stunning. Carlos then took the covers off my couch cushions, took them home, washed them, and came back. My one and only problem with them was that the extraction on their steam machine did not extract the moisture very well. I was left with pretty damp rugs that took at least 18 hours to dry out, and then, once they were dry, the carpets were stiff. I’m sure the machine—portable, not truck mounted—simply couldn’t generate the suction needed, but it was a real nuisance. So, given how amazing the extra services and the actual cleaning went, I give them five stars. I mean, what carpet cleaners would fix your door, get shampoo out of a rug, pull out about a poind of cat hair by deep vacuuming, take your pillow shams home, restuff the pillows so they were more comfortable than before, do your vinyl kitchen floor—I think they even did the tile grout. It was a transformation. The only problems were the wet carpets and the stiff, uncomfortable drying. As long as you’re not having barefoot company, which I was, they’re great.

Fantastic service, great attention to detail. Here's the story. My wife and I were under contract on a new house when it became apparent that she was VERY allergic to cats (throat closing up within minutes of exposure to an area that cats had previously inhabitated). And, as luck would have it, the prior owner of our new house had three. Discouraged by the price tag of recarpeting the whole place, we tried Jackie's to see if a thorough cleaning would help. Did it ever. Not only do the carpets look brand new now, but they brought in a special machine that removed cat hair from deep in the carpet, cleared out all the ducts, removed all the baseboard heater covers and cleaned between all the radiator fins. I was apprehensive of our first night in the new house, but my wife was fine thanks to Jackie's excellent job. The icing on the cake was how respectful, friendly, and professional the crew was. I'll use them again in a heartbeat.
