These guys were awesome. We got caught in a snow storm late night, Vail Pass was a mess and we pulled in for a couple hours rest. They didn't even charge us for the time we were plugged in. Really helped out some tired nerve wracked travelers. We will return when the weather is better and we can spend more time. THX!!!! â¤

It is right next to the river, which is beautiful and clear, you could see the fish, my son and dogs really enjoyed it! I also loved all the picnic tables and the grass area going to the river. The site we stayed at was not level at all, we were told to pick out a spot when we arrived, we were only staying one night so wanted to stay hooked up (37 foot tt 50amp and Chevy long bed dually) which we were told they had spots long enough, the one spot that we could fit in, where we wouldn't hang out on the road and could reach the electrical box with a 50amp was spot 20. (We tried pulling into 3 other sites) spot 20 was the only spot without a picnic table and fire pit (those were very cute) because I think it was next to the septic system, it was also pure clay mud in the yard, which my son loved but not me lol. I will say most of the other sites were not like this, this was the only one we could pick that we could fit that was a 50amp that was available. Because of the mountains there is no cable, and Paul told me the internet wasn't great, I should have asked for the password to check for myself. The river kept us busy though and Paul was really nice and helpful. I wouldn't stay here for an overnight stay, it really isn't set up for that, I would stay for long-term because then you can level out the spots with blocks and pay a company for cable and wifi.

Advertised WiFi, but due to recent construction upgrades someone cut service some how. Camp host, who is the owner's uncle, "unable" to give discount to compensate. But they did have nice free showers. Showers and toilets are in different rooms so no mirrors or sink in shower portion. Shower and git.... Also, there are quite a few people who live there so the water pressure is an issue. They designed the sewer connections at the wrong end of the spots making it impossible to hook up. Weird.

Because of the most recent bad reviews, we were hesitant to stop but where else to go? We're a 43' class A with toad and were perfectly happy with this place. Over priced? We've seen many RV parks raise prices this summer. And besides, where else to go? Good 50 amp service in level pull thru. It's Colorado so dirt and gravel🤣 We couldn't get Verizon but Sprint was strong. Only a 1 night stop for us so didn't bother hooking up to water. Their sewer hookups will be available soon. Glad we stopped and didn't push on to Grand Jct.
