Brian from Kirks Flyshop was our guide for my six year old son's first ever fishing trip. I really couldn't have asked for anything more, and I know my son is now "hooked" on fishing. He keeps asking when we're going to go out on the lake or a river again...
Brian was great: he was super patient and thorough with my son, answered the endless questions, and even managed to find us a few fish despite a fairly windy and so-so weather day. Just a great and memorable day all around. Can't recommend Brian and Kirks Flyshop highly enough!

Thanks for a great guided fishing experience on Grand Lake! I wanted my 11 year-old grandson to have a memorable experience and Brian, our awesome guide, made sure of that. He'll always remember our trip on Grand Lake.

We went on a four hour guided fishing trip with Brian and our family had a blast. Brian was so kind and great with the kids. It was our first time fishing and we had so much fun. The shop was so accommodating and patient with us. Special thanks to Angela for all her help. We will certainly be back!

We booked a 4 hour lake fishing trip last July. Our guide Ryan was great. We went earlier in the morning than we had scheduled as he suggested and it really paid off. Everyone caught good fish and we limited out on lake trout very quickly. The kids had a blast and Ryan was great with them. We will schedule a guided trip with Kirks every time we are in Grand Lake on vacation.
