TownePlace Suites by Marriott Denver West/Federal Center

Where do I begin, lets just say this isnt your average Marriot stay. As a matter of fact when I got there it was like stopping at motel. Kids and dogs were running around. I got into my room after spending 30 mins at the desk. Used a luggage cart that had flat tires. When arriving to room it stunk, the toilet didnt work, the front door looked like it was kicked in, and the paint and floors were awful. I got on the phone and said this room is unacceptable they said well send some up to fix your concerns. 30 mins goes by and I called again they said yeah that room was suppose to be tagged out we will have to move you. Meanwhile I reloaded another cart and headed down upon arrival they made me wait again this time for 15-20 mins. They finally gave me one key to get into another building to the south of the main building. This one was better however it was still out dated but I could live with it cause it didnt smell bad like last one. We unloaded and headed to the car both kids tripped in pot holes and I went to the front desk to get a second key as well as my mobile key working on new room. This was another 20 mins she said her computer crashed. I said my family is in the car Ive spent enough time at this desk Ill be back later. She said Ill have it read for you sir! Needless to say I got back and a different clerk was there she helped me with another key and the digital key I was impressed it took less than 10 mins! This hotel was rated 4 out of 5 thats why I booked it! I can tell you this wasnt even close to the Marriot stays I do! I really hope someone reads this reviews and addresses these concerns. Be careful booking this hotel!

For December I made a reservation at this hotel, but on the day of my arrival I had a very bad experience, the guy at the reception was very rude to us, we had to cancel everything and look for another option, it was in bad taste for me to treat and Judging people by their appearance, places like these should know how to choose service personnel. And on the other hand, they agreed to refund the payment and they didn't do it. What a shame that there are people with terrible service. Rooms: Bad smell

The hotel was clean, rooms were comfortable. What made my experience above average was the awesome, considerate, extremely professional clerk named Bobby. She was super quick with getting me checked in after I had a long day. She was super sweet, kind and professional and really made my stay memorable. Thanks for everything Bobby- I appreciate you more than you know!!!
