There is no one in the world more honest than a toddler, and no better feeling than watching yours give their sitter a big loving hug as you leave them to go to work!
I was in a bind to find childcare for my 1 year old, when my current daycare provider took a position with the school district. I had gotten mixed reviews about Humpty Dumpty, but decided I better at least see if they had an opening and check out the place for myself. The area appears "lived in" but clean and lots of things for the kids to play with (costumes, puzzles, books, games, dolls, toys, etc). The eating and learning area is separate from three play rooms, one "boys room" one "girls room" and one common area. The facility also has a large yard for the kids to play with and explore nature when the weather is nice. I haven't had a change to pop in and see what they're doing during the day, but what ever they're doing has resulted in my daughter randomly singing large pieces of the alphabet song and counting sequences from 1 to 16 at twenty months old! We originally planned to try to get into another popular provider, but have decided to keep our daughter her as long as we can!
