Free Bird Photography

I wanted to surprise my boyfriend for our anniversary with a photoshoot at the coffee shop we met at. I did extensive research around Northern Colorado looking for someone's portfolio to speak to me. When I found Erika's website her mission statement said it all... capturing moments of those adorably in love. From the email conversations, to meeting up and talking about logistics and the surprise, to the shoot itself I was so impressed by her professionalism and kind heartedness. She drove down to Boulder to meet us, and surprised my boyfriend and I at the coffee shop. The next two hours flew by and we had such a blast traipsing around Boulder and giggling with Erika we could hardly wait to see the prints. They were captured moments of love and best friendship, specially picked by Erika for us and we were enthralled. I can't wait to call her for the engagement shoot, and for the wedding, and any of our other photo needs. THANK YOU ERIKA!

First off, I can't say enough good things about our experience with Erika Ashauer with Free Bird Photography. I have two children, ages 3 and 21 months. Needless to say, it is hit or miss when trying to photograph those age groups. Our youngest was being slightly difficult, and Erika was extremely patient. She was very interactive with the kiddos in order to grab their attention to capture their personalities. She is beyond talented and a true artist when it comes to photography. You will not be disappointed. We will be asking her to photograph our family again next year.
