I have not even gotten my mac back from the shack, Jack! However, I will post my review now because my wife and I have used them for decades, since they were on the Hill, and though they have jumped around, location wise, their level of service has remained steadfast. There is no other choice.

I CAN NOT say enough about how amazing my experience with The Mac Shack was, specifically Eric, one of the managers. His tech knowledge and customer service were OVER THE TOP. I'm referring everyone I know! Apple Genius Bar looked at my Mac and said my logic board was dead. They referred me to a place where I'd have to ship my computer and it would cost $2000 for data retrieval! Before I did that, I brought my MacBook to Eric and he solved the problem for free! And he spent a lot of time explaining it all to me so I understood what was going on, how to avoid the problem recurring in the future and telling me how to handle it if it happens again. I can't say enough!

Best tech experience ever. The Mac place across town wanted $90 and 3-4 days to assess my Macbook Air. Mac Shack had it assessed and repaired while I waited for only a few minutes and for a price that I'm certain can't be beat.. Thank you!

Really awful customer service! Went in to have a laptop assessed for trade in value— was told I would receive a call within 2-3 business days but after no missed calls or voicemails after that timeframe and many failed attempts to reach the store or any employee I was forced to visit the store. When inquiring I was met with an employee who told me to “learn how to use my phone” and then after a refused explanation of the trade in value a “forget it, I’ll go get your junk computer.” Highly shocked by these reactions, I left and will never return. No one will ever be referred to this chain of stores by me, especially this Boulder location!
