We heard so much about this restaurant from people who had frequented Estes Park, so we decided to give it a go. There was a table of 28 there at the time we went, so it would seem that the food quality took a step back due to the crowded situation. My wife had ordered a filet with roasted garlic to be on the side instead of butterflied and stuffed into the steak... when the steak arrived it was both. Worse than that, the Medium steak she had ordered was raw and purple in the middle. The staff was good about taking it back and getting her a new one, but when it returned it was a "medium rare" ... still not what she had ordered. Not a problem, we were still being patient with the situation at this point. Upon the steaks 3rd arrival, we sliced it up to get a feel for the cook about the time a manager stopped by and by his own admission "that is definitely a medium rare". At this point it was about 30 min after receiving my own meal, so waiting around wasn't really looking like a good option. Management was great and understanding, even comped the steak, which was a bonus, but with all the fanfare, it was a letdown. Again, I'm sure the 28 top impacted the quality of our meal, it was just a bummer.
