The only bedbug treatment that really works is to get the house up to 140 degrees Farenheight and keep it that hot for four hours. This is the only company I found that has equipment powerful enough to do that. Rich was great to work with, and really knows his stuff. He allotted the entire day to get the job done right.

When I found out I had bed bugs I was mortified and scared to say the least. I contacted The Thermantor via a google search. I had no idea what to expect. When I called them out, Rich responded right away - driving from up north on a job in rush hour traffic to my place in order to help me confirm my suspicion that I had bed bugs. I was amazed at his professionalism and "hand holding" going through the process of getting these critters out! The day of the process, he and his crew were on time, courteous and professional. They explained the entire process to me and also warned the heat can cause damage to some items in the house that aren't meant to withstand such high temperatures for a sustained period of time. With the instructions they gave me on how to prepare for the process, I was able to make sure to protect items of value to me from potential harm. I was really concerned about what to expect to lose. Turns out I had very reparable damage (just had to re-glue the laminate strip trim on a heapo cheapo shelf from Ikea and 1 of my cellular miniblinds did not survive the impact of the heat. Again - cheap replacement. I had one (self perceived and unfounded) issue when I went to sign the paperwork before the process and was upset about what I perceived to be a miscommunication as to what was and was not warranted and what the definition of the type of housing I was in. I took my concerns up to Rich and Marjorie, who works in the office. After many long discussions we came to a compromise that, in hindsight they did not need to make for a customer who was in the wrong, but didn't see it at the time. I thank them for that. . . Thankfully a warranty was not needed on their work! To this day years later I am happy to say I'm still bed bug free. . . and I hope to stay that way. But I can tell you if I ever have the problem again, I absolutely will call them back. They are professional, qualified and most important they are ethical!!
