image Lived here 2 years and the management and staff are so awesome. They are very honest and kind and go above and beyond. We got our full security deposit back! We have zero complaints about them. We didnt love living here though. Our apartment didnt get enough light and the lack of trees/grass got too depressing for me (other units are surely better). It was nice being right next to the park and Caribou, though. I also hated the carpet and that there was so much of it. We unfortunately also had neighbors that yelled a lot. The laundry machines were very unreliable and I absolutely hated doing laundry here. Living right on 285 got old, too. Prices are reasonable for this area. I think this is a good place to live for some time, but not super long term.

image I lived here for 2 years and it was...fine. I lucked out and got a decent price for my 1BR for the first year, but after a year they, of course, raised the prices with no notable improvements to my unit or to the property. The office staff is nice enough, but it seems like they don't really know how to operate in the 21st century. A few weeks after moving in, Englewood was placed under a boil order for our water. No emails or calls from Kimberly Woods letting us know our area was affected - they posted notes to our apartment doors a day later. This is how they send mass communications - no emails, no texts or calls...they print off pieces of paper for every. single. door. and clip the paper to the door. When I asked, they said "there's no other way for them to send mass communication". If you're out of town when something is happening in the complex, good luck.
Their communication with parking is also lacking. When I returned from a friend's wedding out of town, I found a bright green sticker on the driver side window of my car that had apparently been placed saying I was parking in the wrong spot and would be towed next time. Surprise - this is the spot I'd been paying for for months. The sticker had been partially ripped off, but enough was left on my widow that I would have to scrape it off for several minutes to get it clean. When I called the office for explanation, I was first told that I was parking in the incorrect spot. When I provided proof that I was not, in fact, in the wrong spot, I was then told it was because I didn't have my parking sticker in my rear window. I provided proof of that, then it was that the sticker was hard to see. So, what's the truth? When I asked for someone to come and remove the rest of the sticker from my car, I was told it was my responsibility and there wasn't anyone available to do it. As I had done nothing wrong here, I disagreed. It took emailing the main property manager about the situation to get anywhere, and the sticker was removed within a few hours. Astounding.
The laundry rooms always stink and are usually pretty dirty, and the machines are trash - constantly broken, full of dirty water, or don't actually get your clothes dry and you have to pay for more cycles.
Theft is also an issue in this area - I personally had a package stolen from my doorstep, my friends have had packages stolen, my friend had her CAR stolen from paid parking spot, and the mail room is frequently broken into. No security cameras. No help from the office, because cameras are "too expensive and don't do much", according to one of the managers. Recently, a package was stolen from my friend's locked mailbox, and she wasn't even notified - a week later, she had to wait on hold for 45min with USPS to hear from them that the mailbox had been broken into.
Getting my security deposit back after moving out was easy enough, which I appreciate.
If you need a roof over your head and mostly nice neighbors with a basic pool, you'll be fine here. But if you're looking for nice amenities, good communication, updated apartment features, etc., keep looking.

image I was there 1 year and 2 months. When they delivered the apartment to me, they delivered it to me with the carpet washed, but not new, and the apartment had several defects that we noted on the sheet that was given to us. We were asked for an $800 deposit, plus a deposit for the dog, and the rent was plus $35 per month for the dog. At the end of the contract we came to live in another country, something that the office took advantage of by not returning any of the deposit, claiming that they had had to replace the carpet, when in reality that carpet was already very used, it even smelled of humidity when we left. They handed it over. Anyway. I only tell those who read this review and already live there, to take a video before delivering so that they don't do the math in their own way.
On the other hand, I wouldn't have complained since the neighbors were always very friendly and calm.
